This is a stunning Hardy Pall Mall centenary 1892-1992 commemorative boxed rod & reel set, No 52
comprising of a Hardy Gold medal 3 piece Palakona cane rod for line weight #4,
beautifully presented , butt cap stamped with Hardy details and No 53,
comes complete with spare tip,
the reel is a Hardy 2-5/8" Houghton Dry fly reel, 1892 pattern, face plate stamped Rod in Hand, Hardy Oval* and Straight lines logos
white handle, strapped tension regulator, the reel is held on* wood reel spacer within the box
the outer box is superb grained wood rod box with brass locking indent buttons to ends to close and open
a Hardy brass plaque to lid
additionally a blue velvet carry case cover protects the wood box,
all fitting into the original foam padded card postal box, Hardy letter and glossy brochure
