A rare opportunity to own a rod designed and owned by Richard Walker, built by Dons of Edmonton,
this experimental “Walker’s Wonderful Wand” dapping fly rod is built from brown hollow glass,
14’10” 3 piece, line rate #4/6, snake guides, whipped green, tipped black, *19 ½”shaped cork handle with black sliding reel rings,
fine condition, the rod comes in cloth bag with two tags identifying the rod,
and a facsimile copy letter from Mrs. PM Walker dated April 8[SUP]th[/SUP], 1997 noting the rod’s heritage and having been passed to Peter Thomas angling writer and journalist,
plus a copy list signed by Thomas with this rod as part of the collection.
