A rare opportunity to own a rod owned and used by Richard Walker, t
he Apollo Ross 7’ 2 piece tubular steel spinning rod, with letter of provenance,
rewhipped red agate butt ring, low bridge intermediates, two as found, bronze ferrule, 12” cork handle with light alloy reel rings.
The rod comes in Hardy cloth bag with tag identifying the rod,
and a facsimile copy letter from Mrs. PM Walker dated April 8[SUP]th[/SUP], 1997, noting the rod’s heritage and having been passed to Peter Thomas angling writer and journalist, plus a list signed by Thomas with this rod as part of the collection.
