Carp fishing near La Rochelle france

Hi all, I’m going camping in france for two weeks this summer (la Rochelle). One of the weeks I’m looking to camp somewhere I can fish for carp. Anyone have any experience of fisheries in this area. I’m with my family so something family friendly (and super easy with huge fish if possible!)

When we used to camp in France there was a chain of campsites called Castel Camping. Often in the grounds of a Chateau and often with a lake .
Good for families too.
There is bound to be one near La Rochelle.

Do you want an English owned lake or are you wanting to fish a more natural water?

If you want the latter then take a look at Carte interactive Complexe - Peche 17 - Federation de Peche de la Charente-Maritime
