Does Power Pro Braid float or sink?

Well, it has a tendency to float, like most braids, but it does take on some water and will sink easier than some.

What did you want it for, sinking or floating?

I was thinking about using it for float fishing (trotting). That might sound crazy to some people but I like to experiment! Also for floater fishing in the summer.

Therefore I wanted it to float.

A fused line might be better, something like Fireline.

.

BUT - bear in mind what these will look like on the surface. Think I'd rather stick with a fluorocarbon line for surface fishing and trotting work. I know they look different from underneath, but it would be my confidence level that is in question.

Have a look see if there are any clear-ish braids, but I doubt it.

I would agree with Woody re PP braid, and I have used PP braid for many years.

Still don't trust Flurocarbon though.

A good mono like Silstar Team England is very hard to beat for all trotting work.
