pole advice

afternoon,
i'm looking at the mitchell poles on e.bay for £40 this would be for occasional use when i have problems with presentation of a waggler on a windy venue but with some tree sheltered pegs. Does anyone have experience/ thoughts on this pole ?

Mitchell aren’t really pole makers of any note, never heard of anyone using one. Have a look around for a more recognised name like Middy, Maver, Shimano, MAP, etc and see if you can pick up a bargain. Gumtree is also an option and you can at least inspect and hold before buying.
