Thought I'd just post a thread in case there are any club officials looking in.

Angling Times will be running a detailedlisting of clubs in our January 20 edition in exchange for those clubs to allow our readers to sample some of their river holdings for free between Jan 20 and February 17. We're working on the premise that clubs won't be selling many more books between now and the end of the season. This promotion could help them generate some extra sales by allowing our readers to sample the fishing they have on offer. Obviously we can then offer our readers some free fishing to help copy sales at a time when many pleasure anglers are hiding indoors.

If anyone wants tohear more about this mutually beneficial proposal thenthey can get in touch with me on 01733 465673. Can all 'trolls' please avoid the thread andthe apparent goldenopportunity to slag the paper off (although it may prove tootempting for some!)?

Cheers.

How about this then Greg?

The Thames Valley Angling Association invites anyone to fish the Jubilee River free of charge at any time between now and the 14th of March. The stretch in question is from the car park at Marsh Lane sluice, Taplow, upstream to the wooden bridge and downstream to the M4 Motorway Bridge (2000 metres approx.) You must hold a current EA Rod Licence and anglers must be covered by their own public liability indemnity as the TVAA accepts no responsibility for any harm or damage caused to themselves or by them to members of the public. ALL FISH TO BE RETURNED ALIVE. Report all catches, no matter how small, to me - Jeff Woodhouse 01494 523988 - who can be contacted for details of memberships.
