I amlooking for a book or some sort of publication(perhaps previously given on this site in the past)that will give really good practical help inchoosing the correct type of hook for a given situation along with the way the hook has to be tied(for example;how to tie a hair-rig for a boilie)etc etc.
This is for abeginner(to serious Carp Fishing)who can tie a normal hookknot but is new to specialist fishing that probably needs a more considered approach...
A drawing showing the finished hook andknot doesn't really do it-its more the'take a length and thread it through the eye'approach that would be easier to follow and allow practice before going to a water!!I can show him some basics but he needs something to follow and learn...and be sure the tying does not fail!!
Perhaps this sort of info is unavailable but I would be suprised if this is the case.I am happy to buy the right book if this is the best option but I have never seen one!!
All help appreciated...
Thanks
