Mr Doug Walker passed away on Mon 5th Jan 09 after falling ill just before Christmas. Doug was afounding member of the NDSA (Norfolk Deep Sea Anglers) and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
A true icon to the group of anglers who fished with him, Doug could always be relied on to catch the first, biggest and most number of fish, more often than not all three! He was fishing right up to the point he fell ill and was the trip organiser for the NDSA for the last few years.
Maybe not as famous as his namesake but he would have given **** a run for his money at Sea Angling.
Fishing from Southwold wont be the same without him, RIP Doug, deepest sympathy to Geraldine (Gerry) his widow, in our thoughts at this sad time.
