Fox Duo-Lite Barbel

I'm considering getting the 1.5lb 12 foot one to use for surface fishing for carp. Just wanted to hear some feedback about it, whether its good or is there another rod thats better for about the same price.....although i do like the look of the Fox! /forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif

any opinions and info will be nice to hear................cheers.
