Has anyone got the Nash Ballbuster and have you had trouble with the line clips?
On one of mine the clip has opened up and it wont stay on the line, I have had to tie some braid around the clip to keep it shut!

I got a couple of these to modify drop-off indicators for piking - being metal, I thought they wouldn't grip the braid and so fail to respond to drop-backs.

You can't adjust the tension of the clip and as you say, they soon work loose.

Try the Solar ball type line clips - stainless & adjustable & so far no problems.

But do the Solar clips fit the Nash micro vis heads?

No the Solar and the Nash threads are not compattable. I could be wrong but I thought the actual balls could be screwed up and down to adjust the clip tension.

If you can take them back. I bought some a few years back and I couldnt adjust them at all, very frustrating.
