Specimen lakes in Herefordshire

I am spending a week on the Wye this summer but would like to have fish on a specimen carp lake while we are in the area not keen on commercial type fisheries<!-- google_ad_section_end --> <!--IBF.ATTACHMENT_1922411-->

Jack We have got big carp in the river on the HDAA strech now so you might not need to go to a speci lake depends where on the wye you are going ive seen a 26lb carp deadinthe margins 2 years ago and I was told someone caught a 30lber .

moastly pools but some have got some nice carp in never heard of anything mahoosive though you would have to ring the owners . try www.wheretofishuk.com . good luck .<a target="_blank"></a>

depending on the area of river you are going to, try the carp society for access to redmire,
