Wish me well

I`ve been posting twaddle here for a couple of weeks.

I won my first match as a 14 year OK under 16s-had the odd day out as a teenager fishing club matches and didn`t do too badly,

Then went oop North and was more interested in Chub and Barbel

Got married,had to give up driving, moved down to here on the Lincs/Cambs border.Fishing was very much a day a year and none for years now

My wife is telling me to start again and I think that in our 50`s a picnic or a day`s fishing

means just that.

But I know all the jokesabout wives and geting one`s tackle out/forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif/forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif

Flat and that fenland breeze can chill the marrow ( and really screws up the courgettes)..however it'll harden you up should you wish to return t'North!

Whereabouts are you? Bourne, Market Deeping, Stamford, Spalding?

I lived just south of Bourne, but that was 28 years ago now.

Lots of great fishing in that area.

You would find the area much changed now-many of the villages are now housing estates
