So where would a chap post regarding fishing for trout with a spinner now? Has spinning for trout been pushed over to the Predator section?

Yes, and I should think so too.

I have cast spinners for trout in my life, but quite honestly, nothing beats the challenge and thrill of catching trout on the fly. And from my own experience, a competent fly fisher will beat a ironmongery chucker in nine cases out of ten.
