After chomping at the bit for several weeks being unable to get onto my syndicate water because of the ice, I was able to have a session on there today.

Got 7 fish including 1 roach. The rest were rainbow trout and blue trout, all caught on orange blobs, cormorants and bloodworms. Biggest was a blue of about 3 1/2lbs which fought extremely well. All fish were released.

But what a pretty water. And when spring comes along, just visiting this place will be a delight.

And no, I don't intend to be selfish and keep the place to myself. If any of you would like to visit this place, you can - as a guest of my self. It will cost you a tenner, andthat willinclude being able to take one fish home.

This 7 1/2 acre lake is located north of Sheffield not far from junction 35a on the M1.

PM me if any of you are interested.
