ESP D-Ring Raptor T6 Hooks

I have just bought the ESP size 6 D-Ring Raptor T6 hooks to make my own rigs and heard they were a good hook for pop ups but what rig do I make as I'm using 10lb 100% Fluorocarbon for the hook length and don't know how to include the D Ring and can I use them for bottom rigs.

Apparently you tie the bait to the d ring so that it's closer to the hook rather than a longer hair.

If any of you have any tips on rigs etc let me know!
