Hundreds of anglers descend on town

Yes ian I fished it did`nt do any good tho, problems at the weigh in with people trying to weigh undersize fish in and were rightly disqualified, but all in all it was a good match some good cod up to 16lb cought.I understand some 1500 anglers fished it. One thing that niggles me tho the loud music inside the club carnt hear yourself speak for it .[madness] so didnt stop.

You'll always get someone who will try it on Mike, "I didn't know undersize fish aren't allowed" etc.. Well in my eyes there is a simple thing to say to such folk, "If you don't know the rules, don't take part in the match!"

Hope they didn't spoil your weekend Mike, there are a few decent pubs in Brid' to drown your sorrows in, still there's always next year, and the cod will be bigger hey /forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif
