I'm Enjoying This!

After a break of over 20 years, I've now got myself a nice little 9ft 6wt set up and have been out chasing trout on each of the last three weekends! What's more, I'm really enjoying it and wondering why I didn't do it earlier!

Two superb 6lb+ rainbows taken today plus several others (catch & release) at 2lb+including an out of season brownie. Not too easy, had to work hard for the fish and really enjoyed it:

During the coarse close season and a little beyond I find that fly fishing solves all of the 'withdrawal' symptoms and it really is a great way to catch, isn't it.

Remember, we have a 'date' with those old brown trout on the upper Avon to come too.
