A mate of mine has just been told his mum has terminal cancer, and has about eight weeks left. She's a keen carp angler, and he's trying to find a water with accommodation right on the bank - she's not well enough to bivvy up.
He's asked me to find such a water, but I thought I'd throw the question open to you chaps. I really want to help him out - he's had a rough time himself recently but it's absolutely typical of him to put his mum first.
This is quite genuine. I've also emailed Mr Marsden to see if he knows anywhere but, clearly, time is of the essence.
