Well, personally, I am going to lay down in a darkened room for a while as this is the second time this week that I have found myself agreeing with Greg.

Peter that may be, but both are being coy and won't step into the bun ring created for them.

The tables are set up with both jam and cream buns. The judges are in place, the ref is a neutral corner, all we need is the contestants.

But alas they are absent!

Why this should be I don't know?

May be the prize money isn't enough???????

May be each corner has to much to lose, as thiswouldbe the next battle in the never ending saga of the pinko liberal left V the right-wingrighteous right.

Come on gents don't be shy, the crowd is getting agitated.

Phil,

Have you seen how tall GW is?

Tell you what, I have trout rods that are shorter than him!

Geeze, if I'd have known how tall he was I might not have given him so much stick on the forums over the years - but then again . . . . . . . .

Bute ain't fit to lick the toejam from my trainers. If we went fishing together I'd make him my ghillie b*tch and use him to warm my sleeping bag. WhenI went to bed he'd have to repeatedly swim out into the middle of the lake to bait my spot all night long.

It would probably be a nostalgic trip that harked back to the days whenPaul was afag who had to service his house prefect's every whim..... wot ho?/forum/smilies/wink_smiley.gif

Yes this more like it, the first bun is cast by GW the Righteous Rights champion. Is the Boot going to step in with a measured response of small bunsor is he going to be reckless and waste the big trifle at the centre of his table as his opening gambit?

Steve Paul is Paul Boote of angling film fame in India. He tends to visit BFW boards a lot.

...and he built a couple of my old Graham Philips Barbel Rods.

Afficondaos of BFW will him know as provider of off beam but often entertaining flights of fancy.

Forget Greg and Paul; now Bob and Paul ,I would pay to see!
