Well, I ordered mine online on 30th March and I still haven't received it.

The receipt states that it will be sent out within a couple of days.

Are they having problems I wonder?

Probably lost in the post Matt. I think mine only took a couple of days to arrive.

I just phoned the EA.

They are "having a few problems with our new system.....it should be about ANOTHER 10 days.....a few teathing problems I am afraid....phone back if you haven't received it by then"

The receipt is good enough proof payment anyway, so no major problem.

Why don't they just make the receipt the license the daft gets?

They could do away with a whole layer of time and cost.

at least you can use the receipt Matt it would have been worse if you couldn't.

I got mine straight away as did a few other people i know - maybe it was just lost in the post?

It's not lost in the post. They haven't sent it out yet.

As I said (and quoted) they are having teething problems with the computer system that they use to manage the whole thing (I know of people who have received two licenses when they only ordered one)

Takes the mick dont it Matt you would think they would sort it out ASAP but some people couldn't organise a p up in a brewery. They wouldn't have problems prosecuting you if they caught you without a licence though.

Bought mine 6th April and still hadn't received it when I left for the USA on the 16th .

It may have been delivered since ,butI won't know till I get home towards the end of May

I havent had mine either. Paid for 2/4/09 - still no licence. Still clutching a rather dog eared receipt. If they want to get off their collective ****s and send me one great - but I'm not wasting a phone call chasing it.
