Hi, i am after a pair of new reels for Barbel/feederfishing and i also want them to double up for general waggler fishing so all spools interchange.

Not a fan of baitrunners but i like front drag reels.

I have about £120 in my budget for the pair.

I have been thinking of having a look at something like the Daiwa Whisker Match 3012 ?

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Regards..nick

i have 2 of these reels. i use them for long range feeder work, and barbel before i got some expensive ones. all in all a very robust reel and an excellent drag too. had them around 3 years now. no problems

The Spro are on offer at Harris at the moment.../forum/smilies/smile_smiley.gif

Technically a spinning reel but would be fine for Barbel and it's very well made.
