Seeing Chris' thread about zander in the Thames has got me chomping. Where is the closest place to London with a fishable stock of zeds? Other than the hideous Bury Hill.

Several Fen drains little over an hour's drive. The Ouse has got a stack in downstream of Cambridge, have you seen the survey thing that went round a couple of years ago..?
