Kennet Carp

A few years ago (10? 14?) I used to catch one carp for every 10 barbel when fishing on the kennet. Then I never caught any for a year - and then I stopped fishing the Kennet. This season I want to fish it a lot more. I've bought a RDAA ticket and was wondering if any of those double figure carp have grown on and on which stretches of Reading water I'm liable to find 'em.

How wide and deep is the kennet on average Geoff?

It's exactly 25 ft wide and three feet deep. Unless it's been raining, then its a bit deeper.
