Birds using bread to catch fish

Has anyone seen this kind of behaviour here in the UK?

Never personally seen a bird fish like that before, but theres a few other videos like it, seems to be the same bird and from the looks of the other bird (white reef heron?) and the accents i'd guess its australian. Theres one particular video where the bird sets out the bait, doesnt like the action and moves on to a new swim which I thought was particularly good.

I guess it just helps to prove that bread is an excellent bait

Well I never, I will think twice before I use the description 'birdbrain' again, that is amazing but I suppose nature has lots of gifts we never usually see.
