How to take a carp picture on timer (",)

You have 10 seconds from the moment you hit the button. Go to fish, pick it up gently, when it starts flapping around lay back down on the mate. Fish is now flapping like mad and you are now getting a soaking. You are trying to sort the fish out when the camera goes off..
Does any of this sound familiar with anyone?

Take a photo on the mat, it's all about the fish in the end, who wants to see gurning mugs anyway????
