Allestree Park Derby??

I'm off for my first trip to allestree park in derby. I've heard it is a well stocked lake with a good veriety of species.

Has anyone fished here??

Any hints&tips to share?

Methods, tackle, baits and pegs?

Bit of a late reply but did you end up going to allestree? I know there's a lot of bream in there and the odd carp I'm going there today to pike fish it but there's been a lot of poachers on there lately (eastern Europeans) so I think if I have a bad day I probably won't bother again
