Does anyone use these pellets on the hair for barbel? If so, are they tough enough to withstand the pecking from smaller nuisance fish?

Wanting to fish a small pellet (max 8mm) on the hair and these seem the perfect choice.

I don't use them for barbel but have used them on the hair and directly on the hook and yes they are tough enough to resist the nuisance fish.

Derbyshire: best beer, best cheese, best puddings.
They are great for barbel and Red is right, they are plenty tough enough.
Bait banded, hair rigged or straight on the hook.

They are better than Sonu's halibut version which leaks all the black dye within a few minutes of being in the water.

I used the S Pellet quite a lot last season in the 8mm & 16mm sizes. Both sizes are ideal for hair rigging but the oil seems to wash out eventually but the Barbel seem to love them. I've been trying the Pellet 'O's for the last week or so, the Barbel seem like these too.
