I am currently putting together a travel insurance package that will be sold via Angling websites. In this respect, I obviously want to include cover within the policy that is specific to anglers.

Can you let me know, what covers you would ideally like in either an annual or trip travel insurance policy.

This is a serious request, so I would be grateful for sensible responses.

thanks

Chris

Accidental breakages should be covered as well as gear on roof racks.

My mate lost his rod and reel in Canada when he forgot to put his baitrunner on !!!!!...his insurance company wouldn't pay so that would be nice !

Still it was quite amusing to see his rod hit the water like a harpoon as a huge common surged away......

Same holiday I had a baitrunners gears explode when i put too much pressure on a carp when using heavy braid. So accidental damage whilst the gear is in use would be good.

The cover to include cameras and other incidentals to fishing tackle that most of us carry. Obviously very expensive individual items would involve extra cost, but these should be offered as an option at least.
