First Time Babelling in Shrewsbury - can anyone help?

I'm moving house up to Shrewsbury in 3 Weeks and will be joing the Town Club that controls the Severn. As I've never before fished for barbel would anyone be willing to show me how?!

I've got the gear but no idea.

Open ended feeder and luncheon meat will work a treat, not far down the road from Shrewsbury and love the Barbel fishing, prepare yourself for a good fight though and find yourself a nice open spot for your first trip ;)
