telescopic rods

looking to purchase a telescopic rod for beach fishing but cant decide whether to get a carp rod or beach caster any opinions

I would go for the carp rod as it will double up for ledgering / spinning and can be used on course venues when the conditions aren't right for sea fishing.
Shakespeare do a good range of telescopics.
I seldom use anything other than a telescopic when sea or coarse fishing, they're so easy to pack away and quick to assemble at the waters edge.

I can recommend Used Tackle as a source I bought 2 and on my first outing landed a 20lb common carp with no trouble at all.
