I posted a couple of weeks about getting back to fishing after a stroke. I ended up with a 7m margin pole for £27, see how it goes. I've managed 2 trips since then, on the first I was after small silver fish but got broken up 4 times by carp! a bit of rig making later i went back with some beefier rigs and although I still lost 1 I did manage to get a double figure carp on the bank, but more importantly had a great time in the sun.. so thanks for the ideas, it's another step towards a normal life.:)

Good one Gritty , just shows you what you can do if you try , it takes a lot of balls to do what you have done , me , I would have folded and given up , all the best to you .:cool: :)
