Hello,

I use a lot of CSL and yes it can be activated with sugar

But I go one further and add yeast as well as barbel-pro activator and get a proper ferment going before adding it to either spod mix. particles or pellets.

The Teme-Severn stuff I use is awsome

Don't store it in the fridge once you have activated it as that will slow the second ferment down.

let it bubble away in a bucket

The Trent has been very good to me upto now this year...4x as many doubles as last year already
:O)

as for ratio's...nah...just a handfull of sugar and a sachet of yeast ...Keep adding a bit of sugar if the ferment dies down

I suppose its corn steep homebrew :O)

Its the same thing with Tigernuts, smelly hemp and parti-blend....it is the ferment that counts
