gin clear waters the only time I would give it ago but Ive not used it for ages as I dont think my catch rate was any better and the more knots the more chance of one letting go

I use it for hook lengths for the same reason. It's the 'leader' bit that got me. Do you use a couple of rod lengths of FC to make a 'less visible and heavier' length?
hi lads cheers , we need it as a leader in our local water as it is gin clear , we use around 20 foot of 20lb fluro .just the knots were thinking of trying a differant one thanks...col. [our catch rates have improved since taking the leadcore /tubing leaders off]
