thanks for that i thoroughly enjoyed that it was very interesting and what a wonderful way to fish i would like to try that sometime. i want to know this special lure aswell.

Cor! I'm giving up on this humour stuff. I post an 'eek' and it tells me my message is too short and must contain at least 10 characters, so I post 14 'eeks' and it tells me that I've posted too many pictures and I can only post 10 'eeks'.

Good job I wasn't really shocked ;)

One of the things i thought was interesting about it was the fact that he eats his catch. It crosses over with the other thread about about catch & release. I love his description of a big pike with "eyes six inches apart".

Some of you will not know that George Monbiot, who wrote the article, was until recently a governemnt adviser on aspects of the environment. I would have thought that he would be a very useful friend of angling indeed. He is an influential man, he really is.

You see a few fishing for the bass up the creeks from kayak's around here
