Hi Guys.

Friend of mine oversees is looking to purchase 4 of these alarms.
He used the Fox Microns before but needs to replace them now.
Could you please give me your ideas and reviews of these alarms please.
It is allot of money to spend and want to spend it wisely.

They look like a perfectly good alarm to me, the cost of around £90.00p i suppose depends on how often he is going to be using them.
What does your friend want the alarms to do ????
Fox have a good reliable name in their alarms, so you would be hard pushed to find better.

Stealth Viper well the alarms would mainly be used on some long sessions fishing for 40 and 50 pounders really big carp.
So i suppose reliability would be the main factor, as these alarms will not be replaced soon and need to last a good couple of years.

Fox and Delkim make some very good reliable alarms, that a lot of the top anglers swear by.
If i was going to spend a lot of money on an alarm again, i would definately buy another set of Fox alarms.
I have owned the SX and the LXR and i was impressed by all of them.
I've never owned or tried Delkims but some people swear by them.
I would perhaps go for a set of Steve Neville alarms at that money, reliability is supposed to be superb.

Here's a look at the NX alarm for you also :

Stealth Viper i was waiting for that LOL.

I've got the new Nev's myself and i think they are top alarms and after a few fish on them i am well pleased and will not be changing them soon that's for sure.

But i need specifically reviews on these Fox alarms.
But thanks for your input it helps allot already.

Hi Gertr,

I think the Fox NX alarms are probably a little over priced seeing as they haven't lasted the test of time like other Fox alarms or other Alarms from other Manufacturers.
If i was going to spend that type of money i would by the SX or Steve Neville both have stood the test of time and are good reliable alarms with enough features to register bites positively.
If these NX alarms turn out like the EOS R alarms which i think have now been dropped then it could be more problems than it's worth tempting.
