Planning a fishing weekend inbetween Manchester and Northampton with a couple of mates - so thinking somewhere in the midlands to cut the distance for all but need some advice on good river stretches (and poss still waters if no joy with the big B's) available to 'outsiders'. Gonna rent a cottage/house somewhere.
Any suggestions pls as only really have experience of fishing the ouse in Bedfordshire when I were a lad???
