Can I just say a big thanks to all that replied to my post on the newbie forum.
I posted with a little trepidation, not knowing what kind of response I would get. Every message received was informative and welcoming, what a fabulous site! and a great bunch of people!

I cannot wait to get on that bank now.

I spoke to Steve's doc and he gave me the all clear................ although he said Steve's borderline and it depends how this winter's roach fishing goes as to how loopy he'll be come next spring :j

That's rich coming from a bloke who openly admits to living in Stoke on Trent.....the sane ones say Etruria, Burslem, near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire......
