Hi all, had a quick lesson with my pal, setting up the rod, casting etc.
He is taking me fishing early Sunday morning, cant wait.
Once again for the help and kindness.

Did your pal tell you angling rule No6 - always lie about your catch - if you catch a good fish tell everyone the fishing was poor - you need to keep the good swims to yourself

if the fishing was poor -tell evryone you bagged up

ps (bagging up is a fishing term meaning to catch lots of fish and not that you had sex with a bag lady on the river bank)

pps If you do have sex with a bag lady on the river bank - tidy up after yourself

pps can you guess what "Blanking" means?

Louie, believe it or not, now is the best time to start fishing.

Well, it is for me. I just love autumn and winter fishing...

Get some pics and post them, they might not be of the fish! They might be of the beautiful surroundings that you have just discovered...

I sometimes feel gobsmacked that I am blessed to be witnessing what mother nature is doing around me while I am on the bank. It's not all about fishing mate, take in what's going on around you too...

I've got a massive smile on my chops :D I love fishing, hopefully it will 'get' you too ;)
