Crikey, this site is addictive! seem to spend more and more time on here, but have picked up quite a bit already.
Some great videos etc and just reading messages makes things clearer each time.
Walked the river Avon (Wiltshire, not all of it!) today to get a feel ready for Sunday. My mate tends to fish canals more though.
Is there much of a difference between the two?
Obviously Canals wont be fast flowing and the like, I was hoping to start on the riverbank first, but quite happy to go with the flow.

Felt I Should update my profile after the thread by the Lad in Uni.

Anyway dont want to clog the board up! will report back Sunday afternoon.

Cheers and Tight lines ( can I say that yet? )

From what I have seen of the Avon lately Louie, it is a canal. Next to no flow recently so not in it's best condition. Good luck for Sunday though.
