new to the forum. been reading some of the threads, there seems to be a lot of experienced guys on here, just the kind to answer a question or two.

I'm 48 years old (from bedford) been course fishing since age 12, favourite species roach and pike.

There are some fantastic anglers on here mate, especially if you wanna talk roach and pike. Me, I know nothing about either, as you will discover ;)

thanks for the welcome guys looking forward to the f/magic experience.

Geoff not wishing to be contentious on my first post I would say "you need to find some to catch the other" :)

Adrian I fish both and also like to travel a bit when time and funds allow. spent 10 years or so match fishing, then about 5 years not going much at all (strangely I met the wife during this period), then about 10 years pike fishing and finally last season branched into barbel and roach fishing.
