Here are the captions I chose as the best four from the Caption Competition for a John Wilson book.

Please vote for your choice in the poll. I'll close the poll at midnight next Sunday, 8th November 2009.

Some just like to take part, and aren't really interested in the voting.

Some might be disappointed that their caption didn't get in to the Final 4.

Cos Corkers would come round to the houses of people who didn't vote for his suggestion...and post unmentionables through the letter box. He's having great difficulty with potty training the new dog...or is it the other way around??

It's closed ****y (it does say so!). The winner was Rodney Wrestt with his caption that pulled 13 votes:

"When I were a lad, a bloke could use his commode anywhere 'e liked"

Rodney wins the John Wilson book.

I'd like to thank Graham and F.M for hosting the competition and supplying the prize and everyone who took the time to vote.

Thanks all. :)
