I went today water came up 3inches in spite of stream outlet ,I google earthed the lake to see the sheltered bank via weather forcast and once I was in situ'tucked down the bank it was not all that bad ,I think the thought of going out in foul weather is worse than than actually fishing in it.
ps caught a bonus stillwater dace around 9 ounce .....which was nice

It's the thought of setting everything up in the Rain, that i hate.

Once i'm fishing, i don't care, it could snow i wouldn't be bothered.

I hate fishing under an umberella aswell, i do borrow my wifes fishing umberella from time to time, but more to keep the bait and odd bits of fishing tackle dry, rather than myself.

Weather was ****, i had a few knocks on the maggot clip but they were only from the little'uns as the mags were shredded on the retrieve and other than that yes i blanked lol.

Hope i do better on the canal Saturday.
