I'm not on about the bronx.....
When I was 11-16 I lived with my mum just outside Aberdeen in a place called Newtonhill. We used to do anything to go sea fishing off the rocks. We used to go for saith and cod.
Climbing up and down the cliffs back then didn't bother me at all. Looking back at it now makes me shudder. It was so wet, slippery and just plain dangerous.
This is one side of the bay at Newtonhill. We used to fish mostly on the side this picture has been taken, but it gives you a rough idea.
Anywhere you used (or still do) go fishing that was dangerous?
