I've just come off the phone after chatting with Dave Mason about the upcoming Barbel Specialists meeting on Sunday 6th December in the Northampton Town FC players' lounge commencing 12 Noon.
The guest speakers are:
BOB ROBERTS & STUART WALKER

CHRIS PONSFORD
Chris will be talking about photography- specifically how to take better fish pictures while Stu and I will be giving a two-part film-based presentation featuring lots of previously unseen footage ranging from how barbel feed, how they react to rigs and tackle, how bait behaves, ladies boxing, football, hitler, keepnets, outtakes, bloopers, sturgeon, mahseer, white water rafting, snakes, eagles, exclusive clips from BD&W volumes 3 and 4, plus much, much more.
Tickets are free!!!
Members get first dibs although there are always a few places available for non-members. These are offered on a first-come first-served basis but they must be ordered in advance.
Entry includes a buffet lunch, there's a bar, tackle and bait stands, a top raffle and the current and historic barbel records will be on show.
