Hi folks,planning a week on the lune early next year,would be grateful for any info or advice ie; are the big bream still there and if anyone has it the contact number for lansil a.c. cheers.

Peter if you can get in touch with John Conway or read his articles on the river .They should be of great help to you.Hope he does not mind me saying so but he knows his stuff.

I've not fished the Lune for several years now.
You could try Lansil Sports & Social Club Phone: (01524) 425000 thats the last contact I had. However, when I tried to access their web site form my favourites the link didn't work, nor could I Google it so I'm not sure if they are still active? I live 20 miles from Lancaster, but I may ask a couple of lads at work who do live in Lancaster they may know something.

For daytickets, something fishy at forton. Local tackle shops should have them. Fawcets in lancaster, Gerrys in morecambe or morecambe angling centre.

Bankhouse fly fishery at Caton should have them available soon.

If they have the day tickets they should have info on how to join.
