Has anyone used the Daiwa Sweepfire FD Reels?

They are quite cheap at around £20 and they look quite good (the ones I mean are the blue and silver model). Just wondering if anyone has any info about them. Are they suitable for general coarse fishing or are they more like a spinning reel?

Hi, I looked at these, for £20 I was trying to find the draw backs, ok maybe the finish is ropey round the seat but thats ok. 1 spool. on the plus side 5.3:1 ratio its smooth, and the front drag feels good, im going to give em a punt to get me re-started!

I have one which I got on a deal with a D series feeder rod perfectly usable reel, probably would not take a hammering but I find it fine as I would consider myself a general pleasure angler.

Hi, I have 1. I use it for my barbeling and floater fishing for carp and so far it works well. I have it for 8 months now and did abuse it. So far no sign of wickness.
