...if so, how did you get on?

I love fishing in the snow, shame it can't be done this year.

Had a couple of hours on River Dane but decided to return home when bweather turned nasty. Did my good dead of day by going Runcorn's ASDA on way home but it took me over two hours to drive 2 miles home as roads log jammed. I even went garage for diesel and had plenty of time to retreive flask & last meat barm as I waited 15 minutes just to drive out of garage.

I went this afternoon to the River Dove. Still no snow but plenty of frost. Tried a couple of swims feeder fishing with liquidised bread and bread flake but had nothing. I packed up slightly earlier than planned after hearing splashing upstream of me and then having a ruddy cormorant surface just downstream and fly off. But a very pleasant afternoon non the less.
