Tench rigs

Hi all,
Can any one help me with a rig for tench as i am having some problems. The water i fish at you have to fish at 40/50 yards but when i get runs the tench bolt straight at you into thick weed and dump the rig into the weed. End result alot of lost fish would be very greatful for any help.

Stephen as I am sure anyone who has fished Sywell will tell you (not me)the answer is heavier tackle in the way of line strength and lead size. .This however runs an unacceptable risk to the Tench through possible mouth damage.You're answer may be to fish elsewhere.
