I'll try and do one a day during the week. Weekend ones will last Saturday and Sunday. If I don't post one it means I am in hospital, on holiday, abducted by aliens, etc etc

Small print: Although I cannot guarantee it, every effort has been taken to try to ensure the accuracy of the information.

Any answers will be given the next day.

There's are 365 of these these questions, tips, trivia quotes and facts.

I can sort out some sort of prize. It could be a reel, it could be a tin of corn.

The winner with the most correct answers will be announced 2011 :)

I often use a needle knot to attach a fluorocarbon butt piece to the end of a clear slow sinking or intermedieate line as a braided loop can create something a trout can attack.

It's a bit of a stupid question if you ask me.

The River Tay in Scotland and the River Thames in England.

The River Severn is the UK's Longest River, but, it starts in Wales, or finishes in Wales, depending on which end you start from.

Monday Miscellany

Andrew, who was only four year-old and just 35 pounds in weight, set off on a fishing trip with his dad. After a few cast, he called out he was hung up, but suddenly the snag started to swim and a big bass burst the surface trying to free itself. Andrew hung in there, and with a little help from dad, eventually dragged a nine-pound largemouth bass ashore. However, the wee guy was afraid of the fish because it was so big, and he refused to be in the picture with it!
